Leo James Ohl passed away on April 21, 2015 at his sons Dan Ohl of Ohl's Upholstery in Oelwein, Iowa.
Leo was born on Oct. 27, 1933 in Fairbank, Iowa. Son of James and Wyla Ohl. Leo married LaDonna Kelley in Galena Illinois on Sept. 17, 1955.
He was in the Navy for 9 years and then went to work for John Deere. Leo also taught school in California. Leo had a deep love for his wife, children and grand children.
Leo is survived by his wife LaDonna Ohl of Oelwein, Iowa. and a daughter Dianne (Steve) McCandless of Washington State, 3 sons Danny (Lenore) Ohl of Oelwein, Iowa, Dennis (Loc) Ohl of Washington State and Douglas (Rosie) Ohl also of Washington State and 16 grand children, 25 great-grand children and is also survived by his sister and brother Letha Pierce and George (Stub) Ohl both of Washington State.
