Albion H. Bennett, age 68, of Lisbon, Iowa died Monday, October 6, 2014 at St. Luke’s Hospital after a sudden illness.
Albion was born October 1, 1946 in Nashua, New Hampshire to Walter and Lucille (Lavoie) Bennett. He served honorably in the United States Army. On June 4, 1988, Albion was united in marriage to Ragiena Joy Woods in Atkins, Iowa.
He worked for 35 years as a laborer at Sealed Air Cryovac in Cedar Rapids. In his free time, he loved golfing and boating. He adored his family.
Albion is survived by his wife, Ragiena; four children: Jeff (Jennifer) Holmes; Brian (Noelle) Holmes; Sandra Floyd (Bob Brown); and Albion Bennett (Arialle Proffitt); five grandchildren: Shawndella Holmes; Brittany Julis-Holmes; KyLeigh Holmes; Isabelle Brown; and Bailey Bennett; two great-grandchildren: Payton Holmes and Savanna Edinger; four sisters: Jacqueline Lucas; Judith Bernier; and Susan Porter; and Pauline Quellette, all of Jaffrey, New Hampshire; and four brothers: Anthony and Carl Bennett of Dublin, New Hampshire; Clarence Bennett of Jaffrey, New Hampshire; and Edward (Deb) Bennett of South Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters: Mary Hartwell; Annie Pelkey, and Catherine Berry; and three brothers: twin Fred Bennett; Walter Bennett, Jr.; and Stanley Bennett.
