Richard Devere Prosser, Jr., age 63, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died November 2, 2014 at his residence.
Richard was born August 1, 1951 in Cedar Rapids to Richard D. Prosser, Sr. and Lois H. Ronnenberg. He served honorably in the United States Army.
Richard enjoyed fishing and NASCAR racing, and watching his favorite driver Dale Earnhardt, Jr.
He is survived by his daughter Angie (Shane) Hanson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; seven siblings: Donald (Sue) Prosser of Fredericksburg; Daniel Prosser of Berwick; David (Marcia) Prosser of Cedar Rapids; Denise (Clyde) Bryan of Venango, Nebraska; William Harman of Mt. Pleasant; Tina Chaplin of Indianola; and Lois (John) Emde of Downers Grove, Illinois; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Richard Prosser and Lois Harman; and step-father William Harman.
A private memorial service will be held.
