Lorna Ruth Plott
Lorna Ruth Plott of Spring Valley, IL was born on January 29, 1938 and died on November 19, 2014. She was the daughter of Cecil and Estella Lyman.
She was the mother of five children who were her pride and joy. Each of these children survive her and are: Ron Ranfeld, Gary Ranfeld, Kelly Ranfeld, Dan Ranfeld and Kathy Hunter (Ranfeld) along with their spouses. She is also survived by her sister, Margie Landuyt, two step children, Bob Plott Jr, and Kathy Sayer and their spouses. 14 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 1 step great grandchild, by her step brother in law Don Plott and his wife. She was preceded in death by her first husband Lavern Ranfeld, and her second husband Robert Plott Sr. and by her brother, Kenneth Lyman.
The visitation and funeral will be on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Bluegrass Presbyterian Church 337 W Lotte St. Blue Grass, IA 52726. Visitation is at 10:00 a.m. and funeral is at 11:00 a.m. All family and friends are invited to attend this celebration of life.
Memorial gifts will be given to the Food Pantry in Spring Valley and to Ivar Animal Shelter in Lasalle, IL.
