Diane Kathleen Welch, 70, of Eldora passed away unexpectedly at her home on Nov. 29, 2014. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, Dec 6th from 1-3 pm at The Firehouse Grill at 1202 19th St, Eldora.
Diane was born on November 27th, 1944 in Charles City, Iowa to Elwood and Helen Regel.
Diane is survived by her daughters, Shannon Schauf of Cedar Rapids, Lesa (Dean) Wagoner of Edgewood, TX, Connie (Tim) Watson of Cedar Rapids, one sister, Janis (Ralph) Fair and her seven grandchildren, Craig, Molly, Nathan, Payton, Hannah, Noah and Jaxson.
Diane worked at the Iowa State Training School for 23 years and retired in 2007 to spend time with her family. She loved rock hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting, vacationing in Texas and reading.
