Kenneth Knipfer
Ken Knipfer, 68, of Cedar Rapids died Saturday, May 31. He was born January 8, 1946, on the family farmstead in rural North English to Frank and Dolores Crawford Knipfer. He attended English Valley schools and served in the US Navy. Ken was a drywall contractor by trade and enjoyed hunting.
He is survived by his father, Frank Knipfer of North English; 2 children, Jeri De Bollwitt and husband Michael of Bradley, Il; Billie Jo Knipfer of Springfield, MO; 3 siblings, Mary King and husband Warren of Worthington, OH; Carolyn Murphy and husband Michael of Iowa City; Bill Knipfer of North English; 2 grandchildren, Alex and Julia Bollwitt, and nieces and nephews.
Ken was preceded in death by his mother, Dolores Knipfer.
A private graveside service is pending.
