Lorraine M. Lemke, 87, of Waterloo, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at the Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community in Waverly. Memorial service will be held at a later date.
Lorraine Margaret Lemke was born on August 6, 1926 to Charles and Louise Roth Keavy in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was united in marriage to Howard Lemke on April 7, 1945 in Alexandria, Louisiana. She enjoyed being outdoors fishing and hunting. She loved visiting Port Isabel, Texas. Lorraine enjoyed being with her family and loved being around the kids.
She is survived by her sons, Al (Judy) Lemke of Belvidere, IL and Larry Lemke of Thailand; 6 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Ron (Linda) and Jerry (Geri) Keavy.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bob Keavy in 1945, Gene Keavy, and Jimmy Keavy; sister, Mildred Sather.
