Kathy Bracy
Darwin and family, so sorry to hear about your loss. I have a lot of fond memories of Kathy. We were always together growing up riding our bikes out to Myers Creek to swim or chubbin. Spending time with her at her grandpa & grandma. I will forever hold our memories together in my heart. She will be greatly missed.
I, too, was a Liscomb kid and there was solidarity in that. I always enjoyed her and she made me laugh. I'm so sorry to hear she has passed away.
Darwin and Family, I wanted to share some of the wonderful memories that Cindy and I shared with Kathy. We had sleepovers most weekends in the summer, for Kathy lived across the street from us. The day Neil Armstrong walked on the moon, we were in a tent in her yard. We looked up at the moon and swore we could see him. Lol We would swing from tree to tree in her timber like we were Tarzan. Kathy made the best popcorn at her sleepovers to watch movies, I can still smell it-yum! All the dances we had up in her barn in the country. We took our 45's (records) and played them all night. We use to ride bikes all over Liscomb, go up town and play basketball and Kathy was good. She always beat everyone at the game of HORSE. Kathy was like a sister when we were growing up and I will always remember our wonderful years we had. Annette Koch(Doran)
Darwin & family, May you know that you are in our thoughts & prayers. We have fond memories of Kathy & what a good neighbor she was to us these past 30+ years. She was such a generous person - always sharing what ever she had - whether it was fresh produce from her garden or baked goods or just a friendly wave. Kathy was also years ahead of the official "Neighborhood Watch Program"!! We knew our property was safe under her watchful eye while we were away. And we always admired her faithfulness in the daily care-taking of our neighbors/her grandparents, Henry & Avis all those many months. And Grandkids: You already know you were her pride & joy! She was always there for all of you to lend a helping hand and she did her best to show you all how much she loved you. She will be greatly missed by all. With our heart-felt condolences, Daryl & Linda Cross & family
