Melissa Kay Wensmann
Melissa Kay Wensmann (McKibbin) 36, of Marion passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, February 13, 2014 in Marion. Per her wishes has been cremated. A Memorial - Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday April 26, 2014 at the Squaw Creek Village Club House 6201 Hennessey Parkway in Marion at 12:00 P.M. A potluck luncheon will follow.
Melissa is survived by her husband, Patrick; mother, Sharon Schanbacher; father Mark McKibbin; grandparents Bill and Ramona McKibbin; mother in-law Viola Wensmann; many aunts and uncles; cousins; and many in-laws.
Melissa was very giving in life and in death. Many don't know but she was inspired by uncle Fred Main's liver transplant to become an organ and tissue donor. Through her choice in being a donor she will live on in the people she helps.
