Marijean Pittman
Marijean “Jeannie” Pittman, 83, of Elkader, Iowa died December 13, 2014 from an extended illness. A celebration of her life will be held June 14, 2015 1pm to 4pm at the campground located on South High Street in Elkader, Iowa. Marijean was born on March 8, 1931 in Wendell, Idaho.
The daughter of Delbert and Catherine Gardner. She married Willie J. Pittman, May 3, 1946 in Seattle, Washington. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
She was an avid card player. She enjoyed reading, bingo and taking care of her plants. Marijean is survived by one son, Kenneth (Karen) Pittman of Elkader, Iowa.
Two daughters, Catherine Lowe of Hattiesburg, Ms. and Kelly (Mike) Schurman of Colorado. Eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
