Obituary for Bonnie Sue Sapone

Celebration of life service for Bonnie Sue Sapone 54, of Marengo will be held at 2pm Sunday July 7th at the Legion Hall in Marengo. She died Friday June 28th, 2013 in her sleep at home after battling with a 6 year illness and bone marrow cancer. Pastor Eddie will officiate at the service. Her family includes her husband of 36 years, Bob; two children: Michelle and Robert Jr. both from Marengo; one grandchild, Addison, of Marengo; her brother, Chuck from Marengo; her sisters Vickie, Joyce and Connie of Des Moines; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Pauline Haus of Des Moines, 1 sister, Jackie and 1 brother, Carl Jr. of Des Moines. Bonnie was born June 12, 1959 in Des Moines, Ia and after getting married and living in N.J. for 7 years, moved to Marengo, Ia. where she made her home. Bonnie was a dedicated wife and mother, who displayed much honesty and had the kindest heart possible. She and her husband Bob would spend hours riding the countryside by both motorcycle and car.
