Dennis Allen Bye

We had a lot of really good times together and my brother was always prepared with a good joke that would make me crack up. Those are the memories I will never forget. There's no doubt he lived life the way he wanted to and didn't compromise what he felt to be right. Everything happened so fast and I'm still trying to get my head around that and imagine it will take some time. The one thing I know is Mom and Dad were there to greet him with open arms. I don't imagine a day will go by that I don't think of my brother. I will forever be indebted to him because without him, I wouldn't live where I live and have the family I have... Thank you Bro! I Love You Bro!

One thing that I could always count on from my brother was a snappy comeback to almost any situation. We had a lot of things in common, particularly in areas we both chose to work in. Denny kept himself up to speed with current events and loved debating political issues. He was one of the most knowledgeable people I know when it came to politics! I miss my brother more than I am able to adequately express and feel blessed that I was able to spend so much time with him over the past 5 months. I am comforted knowing that he is in a better place now and feels no pain, and that he had such a fantastic welcoming committee when he reached heaven and joined Mom and Dad. Love you and miss you big brother!

My brother was a good person with a really quick wit. He came up with the craziest things! He truly had an entrepreneurial spirit and started businesses in areas that interested him. At one point, we even worked together. When we were young...he got great pleasure in teasing me. One thing that I will never forget was one Christmas when I was around 6 or so. One of my other siblings got me a baton....and it was just wrapped with paper and tape. It was obvious to everyone what it was, so it was tucked behind the tree so that I couldn't see it until Christmas morning. Well, a couple of days before Christmas, he dug it out and started to twirl it. I'm guessing that it created tears in me as he had ruined my surprise. He got grounded for that one and he still thought it was funny! Denny was greatly loved and will truly be missed. His last days were pretty miserable so now he can rest in peace and be reunited with Mom and Dad. I'm sure they are holding him close to their hearts. Love you Denny!
