Bonnie J. Brown, 63, of Hiawatha passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at St. Luke''s Hospital. Per her wishes, there will be no services.
Bonnie Jean Brown was born on November 20, 1949 to Max and Catherine Roberts Lortz in Oskaloosa, Iowa. She was united in marriage to James Brown on July 26, 1980 in Marion, Iowa.
She is survived by her husband, James "J.R."; daughter, Katie (Stewart) Anderson of Cedar Rapids; step-daughters, Melinda Carr and Susan (Clark) Beavers both of North Carolina; step-sons, Robert Brown of Manchester; and Mike (Anita) Brown of Knoxville; 6 grandchildren; a great grandchild; and 2 sisters.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
