Richard Lee Johnson

This man was my life,my soul mate and he will be missed. Rick was a loving and protective person to those he called friends or family. He was also the smartest and hardest working person I've ever met. While he didn't get to say goodbye, I know he would have wanted to wish everyone good fortune and to enjoy life to the fullest. I love you Rick. Kelly M. Gibson

I was very sadded to hear about Rick's passing. He always had a smile on his face and a joke to tell. Rick worked for my husband Bruce for many years and they shared a kinship that I thought was so special. I'm sure now they are both kidding each other in heaven. Rick will watch over you Kelly as I know Bruce is watching over me. Time will help dry the tears and soon smiles will come back as you remember the many good times you had together.

Hello Family/Kelly. Please accept my thoughts and prayers after learning of Rick's passing. I first met Rick working at Sears Automotive 28 years ago. I Loved working with him. That smile...Wow. Then him and I reconnected a few years ago after he called me, not knowing it was me, for a car insurance quote. When he came in to buy the policy... We BOTh immediately looked at each other and did the "Hey...I know you!" Truly a small world. I have never not seen him smile... Including immediately after one of his many medical procedures. I have no doubt that he will be missed by many... Your hurt will take a long time to pass because of who he was. I thank God for including Rick in my life. I can only imagine the inspiration he gave to so many others besides myself.

In his short life Rick stood out because of his big heart. He showed a special kindness to all "critters". He also had many talents & will surely be missed.

My "other" brother was one in a million. We hit it off the day we met and he always treated me better than he treated himself. As a HUGE Alice Cooper fan, Rick gave me a great appreciation for Alice's music. Heart was another band that he turned us on to. Heart was one thing that Rick had plenty of. His kind and caring way toward animals betrayed his tough exterior. Whether hard at work or just sitting around getting trashed, we always had a lot of fun together. Living for the moment, laughing and loving; How I miss those days. Happy trails Bro!

The news of Rick's passing caught me off guard and memories of the short time we spent together came back to mind. Kim, your words of how Rick viewed his family and friends couldn't be more true. It was a blessing to know him. My thoughts are with you, Kim and the Johnson Family in this difficult time.
