Calvin Andrew Simpson, 73, of Ainsworth, Iowa passed away Wednesday December 11, 2013 at the Washington County Hospital. As were his wishes, he will be cremated. No services are scheduled at this time.
Calvin is survived by his wife Karen Simpson of Ainsworth, IA; three sons: Mark Simpson of Ainsworth, IA, Brian (Kris) Simpson of Indianola, IA, and Shawn Simpson of Ainsworth, IA; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 6 brothers and sisters.
Calvin Andrew Simpson, ‘Andy,’ was born June 10, 1940 to William and Bonnie (Morgan) Simpson in Washington, Iowa. He graduated from Ainsworth High School. On December 17, 1958, he married Karen Rae McDole in Washington, IA. Calvin served his country in the U.S. Air Force and was a veteran of Viet Nam. He enjoyed spending time with family, especially his kids and grandkids.
