So sorry to hear about your dad. Tim is here and we are going to Wisc. Friday morning to visit his daughter. We would love to see you guys. this brought back so many memories of our child hood. I Hope you are all taking time to remember our times at the lake, big picnics and playing at each other's houses as kids. May God bless you all with great memories in this time of your loss. Dear Mary and Family, What a lovely gracious gentleman you father was. He welcomed me into his room with a huge smile every time I visited. I will dearly miss that joy. I had such fun visiting with him and he was always so caring of me and my family. He always asked about them, too, as we shared our stories. He tired to teach me cribbage in one easy lesson but I have no one to play that game with except George. And he did love his family and often got out his photo album to show me his family. Yes, Gladys was dear to him and about a month ago he was so concerned about her health. What a surprise when I visited and found him not himself and then had your call that evening, Mary. He did know what was happening and I think even embraced it. Yes, so difficult losing parents because we lose part of that history we shared with them. We lost part of our childhood. But he is now with our Lord and at peace. Rest, my friend, George. What a pleasure it has been to meet and get to know you. Enjoy a better live now. God's blessings to the family and to you, Mary. Thank you Uncle George for the special memories from family gatherings at your and Auntie Margaret's home in Osseo. Such good times! Especially, thank you for being there at my Dad's funeral and being so supportive and comforting to us. You were a special big brother, and I know you and my Dad shared the love of golf throughout the years! To all of your family, I send my sincere condolences on losing your Dad. Love, Niece Elaine (Halek)

My deepest sympathy to George's Family, My mother lives at Meth Wick and we chatted with George often. He enjoyed talking with Tom about golf and life in the working world. My mother visited with George and attended activities with him daily. They developed a respect for one another as they shared about their lives. I spent time with him on Sunday evening and let him know how much our family appreciated him. He will not be forgotten - as I told George - I will think of him with a smile each time I see Hy-Vee green tea. I am glad I was given the opportunity to meet and visit with George. He touched my heart! I will miss him! In our prayers, Lisa and Tom Meyers David and Sarah (How he loved seeing our teenagers. He liked to ask about David's college and Sarah's high school. They are runners and he would ask about their races and share about his love of golf. He touched both of them too.)

Thinking of all of you today. I know how hard it is to lose both parents so close together. I will always remember the fun of going to your house in Osseo. It seemed like it was a hundred miles away and out in the middle of nowhere! But lots of good memories.
