Carroll E. Stahl, 81, of Wellsburg, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at Covenant Medical Center. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 1 PM at Colfax Center Presbyterian Church in Holland. Iowa Cremation is assisting the family.
Carroll Eugene Stahl was born on February 20, 1931 to Bernard and Harmka Meester Stahl in Holland, Iowa. He was united in marriage to Joyce Sietsema on March 2, 1951 in Holland. Carroll owned Stahl Oil Company and Stahl Sanitation Service for many years. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and bowling.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce; children, Bruce (Denise) Stahl of Wellsburg; Brenda Faircloth of Georgetown, KY; and Janet McMillan of Screven, GA; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; and 9 step great grandchildren; and sister, Elaine Sents of Wellsburg.
Carroll was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial donations may be sent to Cedar Valley Hospice.
