Nancy Carns Williams
Nancy was a "bright light" in my classes - she was so willing to work beyond expectations and always had a positive attitude. Nancy's parents were special people - both hard-working people of integrity. I am so sorry that I did not know of Nancy's health challenge until last week; when a former student called me. Following this conversation, I did speak to her mother; Dee and I had a good conversation. Nancy will be missed by all of us who have known her - her loss is another reminder to us: "hold each other close and share happiness every day." I will leave a memorial with the local DKG chapter - it will become a part of the educational grant, which will be given to a graduate (from an Adair Co. high school) in May, 2013. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Jan Wollenhaupt
She is a friend of mind. She gather me, man. The pieces I am, she gather them and give them back to me in all the right order. It's good, you know, when you got a woman who is a friend of your mind. ~Toni Morrison, Beloved I miss her already.
Just wanted to let you know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Nancy was a classmate of Larry & I. Many fond memories of our years at B-F. She will be missed.
Nancy and I were classmates and rode the "fun" schoolbus together for years. She always enjoyed life - loved her hearty laugh! She seemed to always have fun no matter what she was doing. Jack and Nancy were a great pair - if Nancy was having fun, Jack was too. He seemed to fit in well at a class reunion. Nancy had hoped to be at our 45th reunion, but was in the hospital in July and missed it. We missed both of them!!
Sorry to hear of your loss. I worked with Nancy when she worked for the Department of Revenue. She was A fun lady to work with. Will sure miss her.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jack, a longtime friend of Chuck. We were not aware of Nancy's health problems. We have been trying to contact Jack since we read the obituary in the paper. Nancy was such a fun person to be around and I remember how mcuh she loved the holidays, especially Christmas time. Prayers for the family.....
Nancy was bright, funloving, and caring. I think the quality of hers I appreciated the most was her authenticity. My heart aches for her loved ones, particulary Jack and Dee. RIP, dear friend. xoa
