Mary Jane Gram, 76, of Cedar Falls, Iowa passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at the Western Home in Cedar Falls. A Celebration of Life Open House will be held from Noon to 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at The East Solarium at Western Home Communities at 420 East 11th St. in Cedar Falls.
Mary is survived by her loving husband Garrold Gram of Cedar Falls; children Joseph (Debi) Gram, Julie (Jeff) Cooper, and Janice Gram all of Cedar Falls, Jeffrey Gram, James Gram; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 4 sisters Dee (Jerry) Daniels, Linda (Dick) Schaffer, Denise Neilson, and Janelle (Ron) Kephart; and 4 brothers Bill (Karen) Metcalf, Ron (Becky) Metcalf, Neil Metcalf, and Jack (Judy) Metcalf. She is preceded in death by her parents George and Lela Metcalf.
Mary Jane Metcalf was born August 19, 1936 in Waterloo the daughter of George and Lela (Lathrop) Metcalf. She was united in marriage to Garrold Leighton Gram on January 17, 1962 in Waterloo. Mary was a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 48 years with Allen Hospital in Waterloo. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
