James F. Thein
James F. Thein, 64, of Garnavillo, Iowa, formerly of San Antonio, Texas, passed away Monday, October 29, 2012 at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital, Guttenberg, Iowa.
Per his wishes, he has been cremated. A private family inurnment was held at the Garnavillo Cemetery. Iowa Cremation assisted the family.
Survivors include his daughters, Jennifer Walter of West Des Moines, Iowa and Jamie Thein of North Liberty, Iowa; Father, Forrest Thein of Garnavillo. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, Madison, Mason & Mary Walter and Taelor Thein and Averi Rice.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Janell Thein in December 2011.
James Forrest Thein was born September 17, 1948 in Guttenberg, Iowa the son of Forrest and Janell (Mueller) Thein. Jim worked as an E.E.G. Technologist for many years and was an avid golfer and enjoyed motorcycles. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
