Edna Hostetler

Edna Joyce Hostetler (Cleveland), 68, of Evansdale, Iowa, died on May 31, 2012 due to complications from surgery. She was born on July 22, 1943, in Phoenix, Arizona; daughter of Florence (Bagley) and Stephen Cleveland. She attended high school at Peoria High in Peoria, Arizona. She held various jobs throughout her life, but maintained her role as a homemaker, mother, and friend. She married Jose Rosario in 1968 (divorce) and later married Robert Hostetler in 1982 (divorce). Survived by: three sons, Jose "JJ" (Catalina "Cata") Rosario of Peoria, AZ; Julio (Kayeleen) Rosario of Fairbank, IA; James Rosario of Fairbank, IA; a daughter, Elizabeth "Libby" (Charles) Manis of Denver, IA; grandchildren, Aidan Rosario (Jose); Isabella Hostetler, Lorelei Hostetler, Andy Manis and Samantha Manis (Elizabeth); Viktoria Anderson, Kirsten Wierck and Adelynn Wierck (Julio); three brothers, Stephen, Richard, and Roger; six sisters, Nancy, Barbara, Judy, Claudia, Patricia, and Susan; also many niece, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Gene; a sister, Ilene; and her ex-husband, Jose. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at 2 PM at Celebration First Assembly of God, 745 April Street, Waterloo, Iowa.
