Steve Weldin
Steve Wayne Weldin, 63, of Webster City passed away Tuesday July 17, 2012 at his home. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday July 21, 2012 at Saint Paul Lutheran in Williams, officiated by Rev. Elaine Jones of Wesley Life Hospice Care.
Steve is survived by his wife Donna of Webster City, children Aaron (Julie) Weldin, Jamie (Jamie) Weldin, and Kristin Loso, his mother, Marian Weldin of Williams, brothers, Ron, Vern and Mark Weldin, six grandchildren, Dayton, Lily, Emma, Sophia, Elliot, Ian and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Steve Wayne Weldin was born March 25, 1949 to Wain and Marian (Koschmeder) Weldin in Riceville, Iowa. He graduated from University of Iowa in 1972. He taught art in the Dubuque school systems until he retired and moved to Webster City where he was able to fulfill his lifelong dream of creating pottery fulltime. He married his longtime partner Donna (Tolstrup) Van Demark on May 15, 2011.
Steve and I wanted to thank the Wesley Life Hospice staff for their loving care and support over the last six months.
