Radine Faye Adam

Radine Faye Gilbertson Adam, 74, was born on October 25, 1937 in Winneshiek County, Iowa the daughter of Orville and Viola (Horan) Gilbertson. Radine was baptized and confirmed at Decorah Lutheran. A celebration of life Memorial Service will be held on Friday July 20, 2012 at 11 am at Glenwood Lutheran Church 1197 Old Stage Rd Decorah, IA 52101 with a visitation to be held from 4-7 pm on Thursday July 19, 2012 at Glenwood Lutheran Church. Radine loved playing and singing with her husband in a country band. Her love for music brought warmth and joy to local nursing homes giving her heart to all. When playing her music she said she could forget everything else. She was able to continue with this love until shortly before her death. Radine will be deeply missed. Radine passed in her home surrounded by her family on July 15, 2012, after a five year battle with cancer. Radine is survived by her husband Jim of Waukon; her Children, Jan Dansdill of Decorah, Jay (Sue) Dansdill of Decorah, Jodi (Gerry) Shileny of Protivin, Jeana Anderson of Protivin, Joel Dansdill of Decorah, Heather Adam of Decorah, special grandson DJ (Dalton James) of Waukon; her two sisters, Sonja Sersland, of Iowa, Ondra Gilbertson of California; Four Brothers; Gary (Pauline) Gilbertson of North Carolina, Greg (Ann) Gilbertson of Utah, Kevin (Laurann) Gilbertson of Iowa, Keith (Tammy) Gilbertson of Missouri; She is preceded in death by her parnets, brother; Orville (Korky) Gilbertson; father-in-law; Leonard Adam and many aunts, uncles cousins and close friends.
