Quincealea A. Brunk, 51, of Cedar Rapids died Thursday January 26, 2012 at her home. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Inurnment in Sheldon, North Dakota. Iowa Cremation is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include her mother, Carol Oelke of Mesa, Arizona; father, Elmer (Cynthia) Brunk of Seattle, Washington; a brother Layne (Teresa) Brunk of Houston, Alaska; sister Dawnya (Joe) Reda of Atlanta, Georgia; two-step brothers and six step- sisters. She is also survived by a friend Paul Snell of Davenport, four nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by an infant sister, Tymphanie and her step-father James Oelke. Quinn was born on June 18, 1960 in Minot, North Dakota. She was a professor of nursing at Kaplan University.
