Obituary for Francis Sherman Schilling

Francis Sherman Schilling, 82, of Clarion passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at Wright Medical Center in Clarion, surrounded by his family. Memorial services for Francis Schilling will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Clarion. Fellowship with family will be one hour prior to services at the church. He is survived by Phyllis, his wife of 62 years and their children, Mark Schilling and wife Zelene of Meservey; Debra Reyes of Mason City; Penny Munday and husband Jim of Ames; Diane Shores and significant other Wade Roberts of Dows; Kris Schilling and fiancé Sue Dahlstrom of Mason City; and Karen Cmelik and husband Mike of Clear Lake; sisters, Elsie Pauk of Clarion, and Edna Coble of New Mexico; a brother, Richard Schilling of Belmond. 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Stephen and Dora Schilling, a brother Hannes Schilling, and his much loved grandson Garrett Roberts
