Carol Lea Reid
Carol Lea Reid, 69, of Columbus Junction passed away at her home Friday January 27, 2012 surrounded by family. As were her wishes, there will be no services.
Survivors include her husband Dallas Reid of Columbus Junction, children Star (Delbert) Ibbotson of Letts, IA, Aaron (Renee) Reid of Washington, IA, Shannon (Doug) Varnum of Bridge Port, AL, Kim (Shane) Meeks of Rockford, MI, and Nichole Mucha of Columbus Junction, brother Harlan McKillip of Stockton, IA, 14 grandchildren, and 5 great grand children.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Doris Burkamper.
Carol Lea McKillip was born September 8, 1942 to Leo and Dorathia Keller (Frederick) McKillip in Muscatine, IA. She married Dallas Reid May 19, 1982 in Muscatine, IA. Carol liked to roller-skate, board games, card games, and playing spoons and Pictionary. She also liked to fish, but her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family. Her and her grandkids loved to sing and dance together. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
