Obituary for Carl D. Dunagan

Carl D. Dunagan, 78 passed into the hands of our Lord, January 29th, 2012 at his Cedar Rapids home surrounded by his loved ones. He fought a lengthy battle with multiple illnesses. Services will be held Sunday, February, 12th at 3:00 pm. at the Community of Christ Church, 1500 Blair''s Ferry Road Hiawatha, Iowa. Carl was a former police detective with the Des Moines Police Dept and a Veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his loving wife Sharon; a son Michael Dunagan; daughter Michelle (Al) Steil; granddaughter Ashleigh Steil of the Cedar Rapids Police Department; a grandson Blake Steil a senior at Grandview University; and a sister Delores Scully of Des Moines, Iowa. We loved him more than words can say. A light went out on earth and heaven became brighter still.
