Donald Dean Stuefen

My dad was one of a kind a better man you'll never find I want to thank you for being my dad you stuck with me through the good and the bad You taught me so much through out the years You dried my tears and helped conquer my fears So many memories that no one can take Remember the time that I learned to skate. Remember the time when I caught my first fish And that time you caught me giving that boy a kiss Let me tell you a GREAT dad you could never be You were the Best Dad ever to me I love you dad with all my heart Even when I called you old fart Dad you'll always be my sunshine even though you sang it to me That song was our special song an this we can agree Thank you dad for that you've done You’re always in my heart even though you’re gone Yes my dad was one of a kind A better man you'll never find You were the best dad a girl could ask for And let it be known I couldn't love you more

Dear Marlys and Janet, I am so sorry to hear of Don's death. I missed it in the paper. He was a great guy who added so much fun to my childhood...boating, camping, fishing, golfing, playing six-handed pinochle,... He always had a ready smile and a twinkle in his eye. He was such a great friend to Dad and Mom. He was someone you could always count on if you needed help. Love, Kathy

Know that we enjoyed Don so much, as everyone did! You picked the perfect picture of his special smirk of a smile. His joyful nature will live on forever in all of us. Sorry for the loss of uncle Don but yet eternally he will go on and we will see him some day again. To all my aunts, uncles and cousins; May you have peace and strength to deal with this loss in your life in the coming months. love you all, Shirley and Mark

One always struggles to say the right words in situations like these, but we want you to know that the entire Stuefen family has our deepest sympathies. There are no words we can offer to make this any easier or to express the heartache we feel for your family, but hopefully just knowing that people care will allow you to lay some of the burdens on us. Grasp the support of family and friends, as they will certainly help to ease the pain during this very difficult time. Our thought and prayers are with all of you, The McClellan Family

I am so sorry to read of Don's passing. I don't think I've ever met a man so full of life, even in the past few years. He certainly lived life to the fullest. Even during his illness, he still cherished his deer hunts and golf outings. Don will be missed and not forgotten.

Dear family, So very sorry to read in the paper of the loss of Don. there are lots of families that I took care of over my 50 years of practice but none did I have such respect for or had more fun with than the Don Stuefen family and especially the old fart himself my dear friend, Don We truly enjoyed our friendship and some of the nurses at Mercy care north thought we both needed psychiatric help Don's goal in life seemed to be to spread joy to everyone, that smile on his face all the time did a great job of doing so. I miss our friendly visits. Thank you for the kind words you said about me in the paper Your friend and ex family Dr. Doc Don
