Obituary for William H. "Bill" Baxter

William H. "Bill" Baxter, 53, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2012. Per Bill''s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Iowa Cremation is assisting the family. Survivors include his wife, Debbie; Sons, Steven (Tammy) Chyma of Tama, Joey (Cynthia) Chyma of Cedar Rapids, Chad (Michaela) Chyma of Tama; Parents, Harry and Freida Baxter of Tucson, AZ; Mother-in-law, Shirley Kingery of Cedar Rapids. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren. William Harry Baxter was born August 21, 1959 in East Orange, New Jersey, the son of Harry and Freida (Schloetzer) Baxter. On January 31, 2006 he married Debbie McAdoo in Las Vegas, NV. At the age of 16, Bill earned his pilot''s license in September, 1976. Bill worked as a software engineer for I.B.M. for 27 years retiring in 2009. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
