William F. White

William F. White, 65, of Williamsburg died Thursday August 23, 2012 at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha, Iowa after a short illness. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday at St. John Lutheran Church in Marengo, Iowa. Rev. Andrew Gray will officiate. Iowa Cremation is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include a very special friend Joyce Cecak; three daughters, Tammy (Craig) Wise of Chelsea, Iowa, Toni (Timothy) Hill of Kokomo, Indiana and Brandie (Bill) Powell of Bunker Hill, Indiana; a son James of Iowa City; and a sister Kathy (Denny) Ibbotson of Prairie Village, Kansas. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, Jessica Roby, Samantha Ray, Amanda Kiegel, Jamie Molidor, Caleb and Maddison Hicks, Randy and Jacob White, Parker Eccles, Alec Ealy, Wade Vandergriff, Zachary Vicario and Kali White; and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Delores and Lester Mosness and Frank G. White, a brother James, a sister Louise Peddycourt and a daughter Teresa White. Bill was born on September 6, 1946 in Alpena, Michigan, the son of Delores and Lester Mosness. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and worked at Big G Food Store in Marengo, Iowa for several years. Bill had a wonderful sense of humor and especially enjoyed the time spent with his beloved family and many friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
