Obituary for Dennis L. Brown

Dennis L. Brown, 68, of Bettendorf, passed away in his home on August 17, 2012. Per his wishes, he was cremated. Arrangements entrusted to Iowa Cremation. Surviving are his Sons Mike (Amy) Brown of Moline, IL and Michael Brown-Swartzendruber of California; Daughter Wendy (Jerry) Norman of Wylie, TX; Grandchildren: Lauren Brown, Adrayenne Swartzendruber, & Kaylea and Jayden Norman; his siblings, Roger Brown of Mallard, Joe Brown of Bettendorf, Steve Brown of Utah, Tim Brown of Nevada and Gwen Custer of Titonka; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his mother, father and brother Bill. Dennis Leo Brown was born on October 14, 1943 in Muscatine, IA the son of Jasper W. Doris O. (Perry) Brown. He worked for many years at Gas and Electric (now MidAmerican Energy). He greatly enjoyed art as well as time spent with his family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a memorial donation in honor of Denny. They may be made to the family, 1831 35th street, Moline, IL 61265. The family will distribute the gifts to the places that brought Denny happiness.
