Violet Eisele

Violet (Spinler) Eisele passed away on Wednesday April 18, 2012 at her home on Holiday Lake that she shared with her son Robert and daughter-in-law Judith. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 27, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the New Beginnings Church in Brooklyn, Iowa. A time of fellowship will follow the service at the church. Violet was born February 22, 1919 to Frank and Lucy Spinler in the Toledo area. On September 17, 1938 she married Raymond Eisele and together they farmed north of Toledo. In 1943, Violet and Raymond purchased a farm west of Clutier, where they farmed the rest of their lives with their son. She is survived by her son Robert (Judith) Eisele; grandchildren Rod Eisele, Ron (Janee) Eisele, and Juliet (Dan) Payn; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Orleen Nepola and Mildred Weaver; a brother, Robert "Earl" (Helen) Spinler; sister-in-law Gladys Spinler; and many nieces and nephews. Violet was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 2 sisters: Gladys Kasal and Bernice Vore, and brother Lawrence "Bud" Spinler, who lived with Violet and Raymond for 10 years.
