Doris Elaine Totemeier
"Miss Hupp" was my 4th grade teacher at Iowa--one of my favorite teachers. She bought the book "Caddie Woodlawn" for our class, but she told me she had me in mind when she bought it. I remember learning fractions in her class. I didn't know where she had moved to until I read her husband's obituary in 2010. I called her at that time and she filled me in on some of her life after Argyle. May God bless each one of you and give you comfort through this time. Julie (Brown) Hemmie
Stac, Den, Beanie, Daniel & Andrea, Sorry to hear about your loss, I remember when Doris & Wes moved back to town, Doris and I sure had alot of fun chats when they lived upstairs from the salon and I was doing her hair . My thougts and prayers are with you all ,and will be thinking about you !
I was very sad to hear of Doris' passing. I was just a pre-teen when I met Doris and her family. My grandmother, Betty Walker was a friend of the family and I used to see them every summer when I would visit my grandma. I remember how sweet Doris and her husband were to me. I can't believe how long it has been and I still remember Doris like it was yesterday. I have fond memories of her and Glenn and Stacey. My prayers to Doris and her family. I will cherish those memories and wish her family all the best.
