Lynda L. Sondag, 68, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2011 at her home with her family by her side. Per Lynda''s wishes her body has been cremated. Services will be held at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Cedar Falls, IA on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 10:30 am, visitation at 9:30 am. Lynda Lee Mills was born September 6, 1943 in Waterloo, IA the daughter of Lloyd and Blytha (Howery) Mills. She married Gerald Paul Sondag on November 28, 1959 in Waterloo, IA. Lynda was a member of the Catholic Church and enjoyed sewing, reading, fishing and most of all spending time with her family. Lynda was a homemaker for most of her life and worked as the Head Housekeeper for Wingate by Wyndam in Cedar Falls. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend who will be missed by many. Lynda is survived by her loving husband of 52 years Jerry of Cedar Falls; mother to Lynette (Joe) Kresser of Jesup, Bud (Linda) Sondag of Evansdale, Brian (Sadja) Sondag of Brandon and LuAnn (Roger) Wirtz of Dike. Brothers and Sisters; Cliff Mills of Bellville, TX, Tom Mills of Yuma, AZ, Marlyn Mills of Dunkerton, IA, Patricia Wagner of Denver, IA, Bob Mills of Needles, CA and Joy Aegerter of Waterloo, IA. Grandchildren; Nick (Tifanie) Kresser, Adam Kresser, Justin (Becky) Kresser, Cody (Breanna Ollig) Kresser, Olivia Kresser, Kayla (Wade) Putnam, Greg (Jessica) Sondag, Jessica (Scott) Good, Scott Sondag, Dustin Sondag, Matt Sondag, Maraya Sondag, Blake Sondag, Ashley (Matt) Johnson, and Courtney Wirtz and Ten Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Blytha Mills, son Tommy Sondag, and a brother James Mills. The Sondag family would like to express a special thank you to Allen Hospice. Memorials may be directed to Allen Hospice in Lynda''s name.
