Vernon R. Chapman
Vernon R. Chapman, 70, of Jesup, Iowa, passed away November 22, 2011 at his home following an extended illness. There will be a memorial service to celebrate Vernon''s life on December 10, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Julie Freese, Celebrant, will be officiating.
Survivors include his brother, Wayne, step-son Eric (Tanya) Van Lancker, step-daughter Tina Van Lancker, 4 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Vernon was preceded in death by his parents, spouse, 2 brothers and a sister.
Vernon R. Chapman was born December 13, 1940 in Waukon, Iowa the son of Cecil and Ruth (Burnham) Chapman. Vernon was married to Carol Sue Rupp on March 17, 1984.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established by the family.
