Obituary for Allen Charles Crosley

Allen C. Crosley, 67, of Davenport passed away on Tuesday November 22, 2011 at Ridgecrest Village surrounded by loved ones. Burial will be held on a later date at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Iowa Cremation is assisting the family. Allen Charles Crosley was born October 15, 1944 in Davenport to Harry Albert and Ethel Viola (Blair) Crosley. He graduated from Davenport West High School in 1963. In 1965 he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served for four years. Allen worked as an accountant for General Growth Properties for 28 years at several locations across the United States. In his spare time, Allen enjoyed reading and golf. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. He is survived by brothers: James R. Crosley, Thomas G. Crosley, Kenneth J. Crosley all of Davenport, and Roy H. (Grace) Crosley of Alexandria, Virginia. He also had numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Ethel Crosley and brother Gary A. Crosley. A memorial service will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Ridgecrest Village, 4130 Northwest Blvd., Davenport, IA 52806.
