William E. Boulton
William E. Boulton, 88, of Columbus City, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City. A memorial service will be held at 1 PM on Friday, May 13, 2011 at United Presbyterian Church in Columbus Junction, Iowa. Inurnment will be in Columbus City Cemetery. Iowa Cremation is assisting the family.
William Edward Boulton was born on December 19, 1922 to Glen and Flossie Pretz Boulton in Columbus Junction, Iowa. He was united in marriage to Elizabeth Bell on April 7, 1942 in Memphis, Missouri. William farmed for 44 years. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, fishing, and hunting.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth; children, Virginia (Mike Lowe) Boulton of Columbus Junction; Gayle Boulton Pickens of North Liberty; and Dirck (Julie) Boulton of Columbus Junction; sister, Arlene Boulton Buser of Columbus City; grandchildren, Natasha (Ronnie) Williams of North Liberty; Trulie (Mark) Simpson, Jesse Boulton and Mica Minnis, all from Park Ridge, IL; and Weston Boulton of North Salem, NY. Step grandchildren; Shane Lowe of Muscatine; and Kari (Shaun) Sims of Moseley, VA.
Pallbearers: Dirck Boulton, Mike Lowe, Ronnie Williams, Jesse Boulton, Wes Boulton, and Quincy Moorer.
William is preceded in death by his parents.
