Stanley Alred Oftelie
I played bridge, duplicate bridge with Stan in the past. He was a very good bridge player and I, well, we all enjoyed his company. We were all women in our duplicate club but that didnt bother Stan. We will surely miss him, he was a fine person, had a good sense of humour, and a GREAT bridge player.
Stan's Family: Sorry for your loss. We spent many good times with your parents as fellow officers of the Decorah Elks. Many good memorys.
I am going to miss my Uncle Stan. He sure was an awesome guy. Good bye Uncle Stan, and give Auntie Sally a big hug for me up there. Thinking of all the Oftelie's at this time. Love to all, Carol Jean
Becky, So sorry to hear about your father. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Becky, My sympathy to you and your family. Sue
Stan was my first DSC and brought me into AFLAC 29 years ago in Decorah. I just loved him and his wonderful sense of humor and laugh. I was a very scared 26 year old mom of 3 little ones and needed a job and he gave me a chance. He made me do my first presentation the first time out with him!!! But he sat right there next to me, showiing by example what to say and what little 'stories' to tell to reinforce the need for our plans. I still use those examples today and am still with Aflac. Life is good and one of the main reasons for that is because Stan Oftelie gave me a chance. God bless him now for all eternity. Betty Walker (Cowan)
I send my deepest condolences. Psalm 46:1
Sorry to hear about the loss of your parents. We worked together with AFLAC
