Obituary for Navada P. Smith

Navada P. Smith, 80, of Cedar Rapids, died May 10, 2011 at Heritage Nursing and Rehab Center following an extended illness. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Iowa Cremation. Surviving are her children Luanne Lacy of Atchison, KS, David Smith and Kenneth Smith both of New Sharon, IA, Roger (Linda) Smith of Mt. Vernon, IA, and Mark Smith. Also surviving are her 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters and 3 brothers. Navada Pearl Smith was born October 8, 1930 in Iowa City, Iowa the daughter of William and Gertrude (Neeman) Smith. She was employed at various jobs throughout her life. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and fishing. She will be greatly missed.
