Frances J. Stinson, 83, of Shellsburg, IA died Thursday, May 5, 2011 at the Rock Ridge Nursing Home, Shellsburg.
A luncheon will be held at 11:30 am Monday, May 9, 2011 at Oak Grove Church, Shellsburg. Inurnment will take place in Caldwell, Kansas at a later date.
Survivors include her daughter, Dr. Karen Stinson (Ted) of Platteville, WI; Daughter-in-law, Valerie Stinson of Shellsburg. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Spouse Robert W. Stinson, Sons, Richard R. Stinson and Robert R. Stinson.
Frances Jane Korbel was born December 6, 1927 in Caldwell, Kansas the daughter of Lodvik & Wynona (Greene) Korbel. She married Robert W. Stinson on December 28, 1946 in Caldwell, KS. He died May 1, 2003.
