Obituary for Mary E. Clark

Mary E. Clark, 85, of 3831 Northwood DR. NE died Sunday March 6, 2011 at Northbrook Manor after an extended illness. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Iowa Cremation is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include her husband Robert, step-daughter, Linda Otten of Wheatland, two step-sons, Tom Clark of Shellknob, Missouri, Don Clark of Cedar Rapids and one brother, William Hessing of Clinton. She is also survived by 5 step-grandchildren and 9 step-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and four brothers. Mary was born on August 23, 1925 in Hopkinton, the daughter of Herman and Gertrude Seterhenn Hessing. She married Robert H. Clark on May 15, 1969 in Galena, Illinois. Mary was a homemaker and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. Memorial donations may be given to Hospice of Mercy.
