Velda Lunsford
Velda Marie Lunsford, 78, of Farmington died on July 15, 2011 at the Donnellson Healthcare Center. She was born December 30, 1932 to Glen W. and Myrtle Edwards near Bonaparte. She married Darrell Lunsford on June 29, 1948. They made their home in Ottumwa having six children. She worked as a home health caregiver for 29 years before retiring in 2001. She was blessed with several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving are three sons, Paul of Tecumseh, KS; John of Burlington; Gary of South Carolina and one daughter, Judy Gray of Farmington.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one sister, and two sons (Richard and Jeffrey).
A graveside service will be held Monday, July 18, 2011 at 10:30 am at Shaul Cemetery in Ottumwa, IA.
