Roger Eggers
Roger L. Eggers, 76, of Gladbrook, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2011 at Westbrook Acres. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Iowa Cremation is assisting the family.
Roger LeRoy Eggers was born on January 25, 1935 to Arnold and Martha Eggers in Marshall County, Iowa. He was united in marriage to Lois Schmidt on May 15, 1960 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. Roger enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching Hawkeye Football. He was a volunteer with the Gladbrook Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife, Lois; sons, Rodney of Gladbrook; Gary (Linda) of Golden, CO; David of Beaman; and Greg of Westminster, CO; brothers, Merlyn (Marilyn) and Allen (Darlene); sisters, Delores Casebolt and Joette (Bob) Thomas; and grandsons, Trever, Landon, and Preston.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Harold and Lynn; and brother-in-law, Howard Casebolt.
