Albert William Crump
On behalf of the Maiers family, I want to send my condolences. My dad, Ralph, worked for Moorman's feed, and Bill for many years. Bill was such a nice man and I remember him being so funny when he would visit us in Manchester. My dad would always speak highly of Bill. Those Moorman Christmas parties were always a highlight of the season. My mother, Grace, also sends her sympathy to Carol and the family.
Carol and family, My condolences. My name may not be familiar to you. Bill and Glen Gabriel were the two my dad Charles(Alma), of New Vienna, reported to while working for MoorMan Mfg. On rare occasions I enjoyed talking with Bill if I happened to be visiting my parents during the week. Dad enjoyed working for MoorMan's and Bill helped to make it a good experience.
Our condolences to the entire Crump family. God's special blessings to each of you.
I can't tell you the number of times I awoke to the smell of coffee and the rumble of Bill's voice. He would come out and talk with my dad, sometimes as early as 6:00 am because he knew my parents would be up. His was not a voice that could be mistaken for anyone else or one that you could sleep through. I also remember the Sunday afternoons when the Crump family would come to our farm and all of us kids would ride horses. Oh, what fun. Carol, Barb, Becky, Allen, and Rich you have our deepest sympathy and love as your husband and father meets Jesus face to face.
Dear Crump family, My sympathy to your whole family. So sorry to here of the passing of another Moormans man. As a young man I can still remember Bill and Ray Douglas stopping at the house early in the morning to travel with dad on a day of selling feed . My dad always spoke so highly of Bill! I'm sure he will be missed as greatly in your family as my father is in ours.
Dear Carol and family, I am a name from the past but have never forgotten my family and freinds in Anamosa, and my church family at St. Paul's Lutheran. I still attend "my" church home" when visiting my sisters in Anamosa and Marion. I will always recall the memories of my childhood and fun family gatherings along with Earl and Ann Wahl and their children as well as babysitting for both families.. Going for cokes after sunday school at The Grill, our many family picnics. etc. My prayers are with you . Lynnette Cole Morrison daughter of Lucile and Ransel Cole
Carol, Alan/Becky and the Entire Family, Our deepest condolences to Carol and your entire family on the loss of Bill. He was a special person to all he was around. In recent years, he never failed to ask about the health of my parents whenever I saw him. It was obvious he cared about not only his family but others. My Funny memory about Bill. When we were in high school, Alan, Doug Gissell, Mike Ford, Les Boots, Aaron Randolf, Tim Zimmerman, Rick Theilen and I decided we were going to play poker on a regular basis. One night we played at the Crump house. Bill was home and was watching our game. He finally asked if he could play too! We said sure... and did we ever get "schooled" on how to play poker! Bill had a great time and we were better players for it! He laughed the whole time and told us to make sure we came back! Keep memories like that of Bill in your thoughts during this difficult time. My Father, Dale Anderson, also sends his condolences. Respectfully, Dean and Marcia Anderson

Alan and Becky, so sorry to hear about Al. He was such an enjoyable guy to talk to. I know you will have many fond memories. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. Take care.
I remember the Sunday the two of us went out checking on what it would take to own a race horse. "If you could each throw a thousand dollar bill into the gutter and walk away buy a horse." Those were the good old days. We had many wonderful times together with the two of you and our children. It brings me sadness to know that Bill is gone. My prayers are with you Carol and your children. Doc Wahl

Dear Carol, Becky and family, Our deepest sympathy to you at Bill's passing, but we know that he is resting in the Lord's presence. It has been a wonderful privilege to share families with you-- we will miss his presence at the the breakfast get-togethers at the Farm. Mom will never forget the day Dad was reading Jake and Erin's engagement announcement and realized that the four of you were going to share grandchildren and have the same great-grandchildren. What a special thing for two Moorman's men! Our thoughts are with you. Love, from all the Griebahns and Connie Madden
