You have my deepest sympathy at this time of your loss. Cristy was an amazing woman. She will never be forgotten for her friendly smile and easy going attitude. She fought a courageous fight. May she rest in peace for eternity. Love to all of you.
I am so sorry to hear of Cristy's passing. She was always upbeat and brought a smile to everyone. We had some good times at swim meets when our kids were growing up. Bless her, she sunburned even in the shade. My thoughts are with her loved ones.
There is way to many things that i can say but here is a short version. I will always love and miss you. Everyday I will want you to be here but you cant. You had a good fight with cancer and that is why i will always look up to you. You were a strong, Friendly, amazing, creative woman but most of all you are my grandma and I love you. love, Alexis Bowers
We would like to send our love and support to you guys at this time in need. She will always be there for you guys as she has in the past. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and may God Bless all of you! Marcia, Dave and Cameron
It's hard to believe its been 2years...miss you so much
I still get our hometown newspaper, the Scribner Rustler, and saw a familiar smiling face on the obituary page. I haven't seen that frieindly smile and curly blond hair in decades, dating back to Scribner, NE, in the 1960's when the Johnson family had the Scribner Hotel. Hugh Jr was in my sister Sandra's class, Cristy was a year ahead of me. I was saddened to see that Eddy has died also. The Johnson kids were always friendly and fun in our little school and town. My heartfelt sympathies to each of you, Larry Moeller
Thank you for being the most loving, caring, understanding, helpful and funny MOM a daughter could have. You were always there for me and the kids. You made me laugh when I was having a bad day. I'll never forget you saying to me "lighten up lady" when I was having a bad day! Or when people would ask you, "How are you?" your reply was always, "I'm nice". This always made people smile. I will keep you in my heart always and never forget you. I love you and will miss you. Lisa

Dear Larry and family I was so sorry to hear of Christy's passing.. we were out of the country on a trip to Canada. I'll always remember how I met Christy. We had just moved to Anamosa in 1984 when my husband Dave got a job at the penitenary. Christy was the first person to welcome us to town. Thats when she was a welcome lady in town. We just remembered when our son Allen was a little boy and we used to go down to the feed mill to visit Christy. And the times that Allen went on trips to Manchester with Larry. I'll always remember Christy with her smiling face. She was always a happy person to talk to. God Bless you all at this time in your life. Nancy Smalley
