Ralph E. Bridgewater
Had the pleasure of meeting this family at VGH. Always enjoyed Ralphs sense of humor. He will be missed.
Grandpa Ralph and family: I love and miss you very very much and you will always be in my heart.

I remember living across the street from you and Macy Ann. I would love coming over and watching movies with you while Aunt Macy made us homemade chocolate pudding :) I always snuck up to your office and you would give me pens and pencils to color while you were working. You used to show me your finger that you lost and make jokes so I wouldn't be scared and made me laugh so much. I loved spending time with you. I'm sorry I couldn't make it but I sure was thinking of you and Aunt Macy. I love you!
Macy and Family: Sorry to hear of Ralph's passing. Macy, I am sure you have fond family memories and can feel good about your years together and the care you were able to give Ralph in the recent years. Dona & I are thinking about you as we always have had a great deal of respect for you and your family. Still remember the semi ride Ralph gave Nathan, our grandson, and me to Ottumwa. Your friends, Dona & Harold Merchant
Macy Ann, Steve, Linda, and Robert, I remember Ralph's sense of humor, his ability to tell a good story, and his love of family. May you feel comforted by the outpouring of love sent your way.
Our sympathy to you and your family Macy. The years have gone by so fast when you lived in Blairstown and worked at the school you were a good friend. All my kids remember when you and Ralph lived in Blairstown on the corner from the park. Such fond memories we can keep dear to our hearts of Ralph. Macy and family Just wanted to say that we are thinking of you during your time of loss. May all the good memories keep you strong.
Where did all the years go - they passed to quicky. Ralph, you and Macy were like 2nd parents to me! I felt right at home running in and out your back door on my way to or from some 'very important' event! I always assured you that "of course we were being good! How could Linda get into any trouble when she was with me????" You helped me out just like a dad would - in the cornfield and of course with my civil war history lessons! I cherish those years and feel very lucky to have been included in your family when I was growing up and through the years. You were a great man and you will be missed! Love you forever, Amy
