Obituary for Kathleen Baker

Kathleen Baker, 75, of Redding, IA, passed away on Tuesday August 23, 2011 at her home. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Iowa Cremation is assisting the family. Kathleen Baker was born on May 18, 1936 to Fred and Sarah (Jones) Niggli in Hoskins, Oregon. She was united in marriage to Richard Junior Baker on December 16, 1966 in Sweet Home, Oregon. Kathleen was a member of the Thimble Club, MAC''s club (Methodist Action Club) and taught Rainbows at the Assembly of God Church in Grant City, MO. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, and miscellaneous crafts. She is survived by her husband Richard Baker; son Ronald Baker of Minnesota; granddaughter Becky Baker of Redding; brothers Larry Niggli of Washington, and John Niggli of Oregon; sisters Susan Niggli of Oregon, Sharon Payne of Oregon, Karen VanBibber of Oregon, Nancy Burks of Oregon, Dorothy Bernard of Oregon and Patricia Kuhns of Virginia; and numerous nieces and nephews. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, brother Richard Niggli, and sisters Jean and Nadine Niggli.
