Words can't express the sorrow I feel at the loss of Jerry. He was a wonderful person to work with and I am so glad I had the privelege. The wooden shelf he made for a work Christmas party still hangs in my dining room. Jerry was an angel on earth-now what a great feeling he will be watching out for all of us in heaven. I am praying for the family Jerry left behind-please take care & god bless you all.

Kathy and family, we didn't know about Jerry until we were in C.R. the day of his services visiting a friend in a Care Center. Bill picked up the Gazette and there was his obituary. Please know that our prayers and condolescenses are with you. I'll never forget Jerry's happy laugh. One day he and Gary Cook called me in and said they had something to tell me. They had won a trip to Mexico through Conrad American Buildings and they couldn't go so they said I was going! And I did and took my daughter that was a junior in high school. We had never been anywhere so what a trip it was! Just always enjoyed being around Jerry because he was such a positive person.

As we travel through life, we never fully grasp how many lives we've touched nor what influence we've had on others. Jerry touched many lives and influenced many. Sharing a "common bond" with Jerry, we would often visit after Mass. It was so enjoyable and Jerry never had the "poor me attitude". He will be greatly missed by many and always missed by his family. Our lives are better for having known him. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

That smile! I'll always remember stopping out at the farm back in high school to pick up Karrie to head up to Manchester for the evening and catching Jerry outside or in the driveway to chat for a bit. I could have stayed there all night talking with him. He always seemed interested in what I was saying (which I'm pretty sure was not interesting) and we always had a good laugh! I will always remember him smiling and the faces he would make! More recently he was cracking me up as we played "Pegs and Jokers" at Mom's house in McAllen. Kathy, I'll be saying a prayer for you and the entire family. Sunshine, hold the good times with him in your heart to help you through this rough time. What a nice guy he was.
