Frances Lorraine Cain
Frances L. Cain, 86, died at home on Sunday, August 14, 2011 at home. Iowa Cremation is assisting the family.
Frances Lorraine (Lampe) Cain was born on October 6, 1924 in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa to Laurence and Edith Scarff Lampe. She was united in marriage to Raymond Cain on March 16, 1944 in Conway, North Carolina. They later divorced. Frances retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber in Mt. Pleasant. She moved to Des Moines and enjoyed working at the Iowa State Fair.
She is survived by three sons, Jerry of Mt. Pleasant; Dennie of Cedar Rapids; and James of Topeka, KS; two daughters, Linda Allen and Colleen Clark both of Des Moines; one brother, Larry Lampe of Hudson, FL; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
Frances is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Lester and Leonard; one sister, Eleanor Fitch; brother-in-law, Morris Fitch; one son, John Thomas and one great granddaughter.
