Holly Marie Gault

Holly Marie (Lawrence) Gault, 88, passed away in her daughter’s home in Lamoni, Iowa April, 12, 2011. Holly was born December 19, 1922. She graduated from Flint Northern High School in 1941. Holly had many friends and a loving extended family. Her years growing up, and as a young adult on Damon Street were her most cherished memories. During World War II Holly did calibration in the munitions plant. She then worked for the US Immigration Offices in Flint, where she was a well-respected administrative assistant. She was very active in Women’s ministry for the RLDS Church, now Community of Christ. This is where she met her husband of 50 years Carol “Carl” Gault. Holly raised three children in Flushing, Michigan. She continued to be active in the Community of Christ and worked part-time as a para-professional in Flushing Community Schools. Holly leaves behind many loved ones including her children; Paul Gault of Glendale, California, Margaret “Mandy” Kolesik of Lamoni, Iowa, and Eric Gault of Swartz Creek, Michigan. She also leaves three grandchildren; Aaron Kolesik, Leigha Kolesik and Stephen Gault. She is survived by her brother David Lawrence of Flushing Michigan and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Holly was a vibrant woman; intelligent, funny and outgoing. She will be missed. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Clio Congregation of the Community of Christ in Clio, Michigan.
